The J-Walkers Youth Group

J-Walkers youth group is a place where middle and high school students feel welcome and encouraged to take the next steps in their faith. Our desire is to put into practice Romans 12:1-2 and keep our focus on what God has for us so we will be changed from the inside out – ready to recognize and respond to the way He has for us.

Join us during the school year on Wednesday evenings from 6:45 to 8:00 at the house behind the church. You can expect a good time with friends, encouraging Bible teaching and music, and a small group time led by caring adult mentors.

Some of the special events we do throughout the year are:

  • A fall retreat at Forest Springs Camp being challenged by the high and low ropes courses

  • Service projects such as making care packages, raking leaves, putting together bags for the homeless, making blankets to encourage those going through tough times, etc.

  • Going to the Districts Youth Conference in Green Bay the first weekend in January

  • 30 hour famine to raise money for those who are hungry

  • Fun youth activities such as a Christmas party, gym night at the High School, sledding, sports camp, etc.

  • Every summer we do a trip that averages about a week long.  It varies each summer: adventure trip, mission trip, inner city ministry, local service projects, etc.
